Fiditas IECEx Certification Body for Ex equipment Scheme and EU Notified Body No. 2829 fully ISO/IEC 17065 Accredited to conduct certification of explosion protected electrical and non-electrical equipment, components, safety and controlling devices of group I and II category M1, M2, 1, 2 and 3 and protective systems as defined in 2014/34/EU Directive (ATEX). This international accreditation covers also explosives for civil use as defined in 2014/28/EU and pyrotechnic articles as defined in 2013/29/EU. Also, Fiditas is the leading state of the art testing laboratory fully ISO/IEC 17025 accredited to conduct series of tests in accordance with ISO/IEC 80079-20-2 and other standards applicable to testing of explosive properties of materials.
Our competent personnel have years of experience in setting up ATEX and IECEx compliant ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratories, hands on experience in testing and certification of Ex equipment and protective systems, explosives for civil use and pyrotechnic articles, audits at manufacturing sites worldwide, installation and maintenance services, repair workshops assessment against IEC 60079-14, IEC 60079-17 and IEC 60079-19 and actively participate in international standardization IEC TC31 work in the field of explosion protection since 1999.
