On 24th January 2020 the IECEx Conformity Assessment System Management Committee accepted Fiditas for the IECEx Certification Body in the Certified Equipment Scheme. With this acceptance we completed our task started after closing of Ex-Agencija in January 2019 and became one of only two Ex Certification Bodies in the world which are also accepted by the European Commission as Notified Body for Directives 2014/34/EU (ATEX), 2014/28/EU (civil explosives) and 2013/29/EU (pyrotechnic articles).
This is the result of diligent team work of our excellent personnel. By this achievement we succeeded to secure ongoing ATEX and IECEx services in Croatia with continuity of more than 70 years of Ex testing and certification in our part of the world for the global market.
Staying highly focused to explosion safety in the industry, we managed to attract competent engineers from former Ex-Agencija and to accumulate more than hundred and sixty years of experience in this specific field of science and technology, making us fully prepared for the completion of demanding tasks for international clients at any location.
Special thanks goes to our associated IECEx testing laboratory DNV GL Presafe in Norway who recognized our potential in 2017 and developed excellent and sustainable cooperation on demanding off-shore and on-shore projects with us.
